Gordon Verrall - Managing Director

Gordon brings a unique set of specialist skills to CAA, skills which are invaluable to clients seeking to enter the farmland sector. With a proven skill-set in business and financial analysis, farm operational management and sourcing and negotiating high quality farmland at below valuation, he ensures that CAA successfully matches investor objectives with appropriate properties and management strategies.

Joining FARMANCO in 2003, Gordon has provided professional management consultancy to a large and progressive client base in the Northern and Central Wheat-belt regions of Western Australia. As a partner of the FARMANCO business he oversaw the development and progression of FARMANCO to its current position as Australia's largest farm consultancy group.

Coming from a successful farming background, Gordon has a comprehensive understanding of the essential components of large scale farm management. His experience is reflected in his strong hands-on skills and broad knowledge of best practice grains and livestock production systems.

In addition to extensive management skills, Gordon has an intimate understanding of the social and personal intricacies of agriculture and its people; knowledge that any corporate entering the agricultural sector will find essential in ensuring good enduring investments.


Cale Beard - Operations and Logistics

With a strong agricultural background, Cale ensures the successful implementation of required management strategies on behalf of CAA investor clients. His extensive knowledge of operation farm management ensures that optimum strategies are developed and implemented to maximise both profitability and capital appreciation opportunities. This can only occur under a regime of sound management conducted in a sustainable manner.

Cale also oversees the management of lease properties for many CAA clients and is responsible for ensuring the tenant adheres to lease conditions and the subsequent reporting to the client.


Sherrie Littlefair - Client Services Administration

Sherrie provides key financial reporting and compliance services for our clients and understands the intricacies of client requirements in terms of reporting structures and detail. Sherrie is registered with the Tax Practitioners Board and hence can compile and lodge BAS taxation documentation on behalf of CAA clients.

Cheryl Hoffman - Client Services 

Cheryl provides essential reporting and book-keeping services to clients. Cheryl has a strong banking sector background and brings strong governance and compliance skills to her role.

Julian Dayman - Principal Consultant

Julian has a strong and diverse background in agricultural land and forestry transactional deal making. Having provided services to some of Australia's largest land owners, Julian has a proven capacity to develop strategies and ensure their successful implementation.
